TOUS A EXETER
.
Dear Fairy Friends
The Lanval Art Exhibition is now up and running in Exeter Castle until Saturday 18th December.
The bold and imaginative exhibition is a unique concept: incredible artists from both France and England have all created works inspired by the Lanval legend. These are all new works never before exhibited and it's fascinating to see how twenty-six creative minds have interpreted this haunting legend in such different and individual ways.
The fairy pavilion from the "Sir Lanval" movie has been reassembled in the room, and you can sit inside it and feel a real bit of fae magic. (Make a wish whilst you are in there - It is a place of rejuvenation where Lanval enjoys secret love trysts with the fairy queen- in fact after the epic of epic epicness that was creating the film, I think I'll sit in the pavilion myself wishing for a bit of rejuvenation!)
I'll be there all day on Monday 13th and Friday 17th, and also on Tuesday morning 14th, so please come and say hello. Other wonderful volunteers will be there on all the other days, and they are all special, generous people.
Wrap up warm as the exhibition hall is very cold!
Love to you all, and best wishes for a magical Christmas.
Elizabeth-Jane xx
